Luna (for luna-wolftherian) by Hibiscus-Lime Luna (for luna-wolftherian) by Hibiscus-Lime
well, there is quite a story around this one image. as a warning its quite sad in parts, well here goes...
This is for :iconluna-wolftherian: one of the like... 2 people i know IN REAL LIFE (the other being a girl who is a bitch, so i won't link her) who use this wonderful website called deviantart. i met her at my old school (which was complete shit, nuff said.) and she seemed pretty nice, and i introduced her to deviantart, and she got it! she uploaded some pics too. and i told her about art trades, and she agreed to do one.
so i spent many hours drawing her OC luna, i used glitter paints (before some ass at school decided to mix them with watercolours) so in real life, the image shimmers. i drew her with a shimmering dress that sparkles in real life, and a galaxy background. it was perfect apart from the mark on the chin which was accidental, and i couldn't remove.
i was excited to hear from "Luna" but she started hanging out with another girl, and basically refused to acknowledge i existed, along with never drawing for me, which upset me a lot because i have always wanted a DA pal that i know IRL.
after that she just ignored me and i don't think she has been on DA.
so i was just left with what was essentially a request for someone that didn't even care.
so i was upset and didn't upload it for literally months (this is from about june 2015ish)
until i thought, you know what. it doesn't matter, i spent ages on this piece, and there is already a hell of a lot of art i am nervous to upload. and i think i will show the internet my art and not be afraid to let this go unnoticed.
so there. that is the story of Luna.

Luna-wolftherian if you ever log back in to devaintart,  this is the only contact i still have with you.
basically just be happy i uploaded this and kept everything pretty much confidential as i could. and although you upset me a lot i think you owe me an apology and maybe i will consider being you friend again.

A sad story to go with such a beautiful piece of work.

I really really like this image. The way you used the colours makes the image more magical and mystical to go with the name 'Luna'

(going back into your description) you should NEVER be nervous to upload things to DA. I believe I am a terrible artist, yet I want to improve so somehow I swallow my fear and just upload it. You never know, you may be able to gain more friends that are worth more than the one you lost. I have lost many friends in real life and I never really had internet friends(apart from Tumblr and even then it was like one..or two)... especially on DA.

So back to the image. I feel like it needed an extra bit of outlining on the hair just to make it pop out a little more from the background.

But apart from that I think that this is a beautiful piece of work, excluding the sad backstory.

Keep up the good work and don't be afraid ;)
What do you think?
